As our shipments may contain batteries and accumulators, we are required by the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: |
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally required to return used batteries and accumulators to a municipal collection point or a local retailer. Old batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled. After use, you can return the batteries either to us or to a nearby collection point (e.g., in stores, municipal collection points, or in our shipping warehouse) free of charge. The return in retail stores is limited to the usual quantities and those batteries that the retailer has sold or still sells as new batteries. |
